    • A threaded connection includes first and second tubular components each with an axis of revolution. The first component including a male threaded end, the second component including a female threaded end, and both the male and female threaded ends finishing in a terminal surface. The threaded zones include, over a portion defined as in a self-locking make-up, threads, which before the self-locking make-up and when viewed in a longitudinal section passing through the axis of revolution of the first and second components, each include: a thread crest, a thread root, a load flank, and a stabbing flank. A width of the thread crests of each component reducing in a direction of the terminal surface of the component under consideration, while a width of the thread roots increases. A lead of the male stabbing flanks and/or load flanks is different from a lead of the female stabbing flanks and/or load flanks.

    • A threaded connection and a method for producing such a connection. The threaded connection includes a first and a second tubular component. The first component includes a male end provided on its outer peripheral surface with, in succession, a threaded zone, a sealing surface, and a terminal surface finishing in an abutment surface orientated radially with respect to the axis of revolution of the connection. The second component includes a female end provided on its inner peripheral surface with, in succession, a threaded zone, a sealing surface, and a recess finishing in an abutment surface orientated radially with respect to the axis of revolution of the connection. The threaded zone of the male end is made up into the threaded zone of the female end such that the sealing surfaces are in interfering contact, as are the abutment surfaces, the space between the terminal surface and the recess defining a volume at least partially filled with a filling material.

    • The invention relates to an expandable tubular joint comprising: (i) a male tubular element (EM) which is equipped with a male thread (FM), a first annular lip (L1) having a first axially abutting surface (SB1), a first inner surface (SI1) and a first outer surface (SE1), and a second abutting surface (SB2); and (ii) a female tubular element (EF) which is equipped with a female thread (FF), a second annular lip (L2) having a third abutting surface (SB3), a second outer surface (SE2) and a second inner surface (SI2), and a third inner surface (SI3) and a fourth axially abutting surface (SB4) which, together with the second outer surface (SE2), defines a first annular housing (LO) homologous to the first lip (L1). According to the invention, the male tubular element (EM) initially comprises a local annular added thickness (SA1) at a fourth inner surface (SI4) which projects out from the second abutting surface (SB2). The third inner surface (SI3) of the female tubular element (EF) comprises an annular groove (G1) which, after screwing, is placed at the first outer surface (SE1) and the annular added thickness (SA1). The male and female elements are shaped such that, after screwing, the first lip (L1) is housed in the annular housing (LO) and the second and third abutting surfaces rest against one another, in order to enable the formation of an annular shoulder (EP) at the first outer surface (SE1) during diametral expansion in the plastic deformation region, said shoulder having the shape of part of the groove (G1) and being in hermetic clamping contact therewith.

A compressible volume is provided in the thickness of the first terminal portion and partially beneath the sealing surface, to reduce radial stiffness of the terminal portion by at least 20%, while conserving at least 60% of axial stiffness.
