    • PURPOSE: To increase the flow speed of an air stream, etc. formed in a gap, by providing a plurality of plate electrodes having top ends to which bar magnet bodies are attached in parallel with each other in a gap, and forming corona discharge between the plate electrodes and ionizer wires at outer positions apart in a predetermined distance from said gap.
      CONSTITUTION: By turning ON the switch of a power source E, high voltage is impressed between ionizer wires 2. and plate electrodes 1..., handling the side of the plate electrodes 1 as negative poles. Hence, corona discharge is formed between the ionizer wires 2 provided at positions outside the gaps between the pole plates 1... apart in a predetermined distance r from a line linking the top ends 1a of the plate electrodes 1 and the vicinity of the top ends 1a. A large quantity of cations formed by said discharge exhibit the tendency to move toward the plates 1... by the electric field between the plates 1 and the wires 2. At the same time, the cations are attracted by a magnetic field formed by bar magnet bodies M1 to accelerate their flow speed. The resulting kinetic energy is applied to natural gaseous molecules, so that a kind of a gaseous stream directing from the side of the wires 2 toward the side of the plates 1... is formed.
