SOLUTION: The cooking utensil lid 1 includes a plurality of vents 11 in a dome-shaped lid body 10 which swells upward and whose lower end forms an opening 12, and a tongue piece 20 projecting inward into the lid body 10 from the lower edge 21 of each vent 11 is formed. The cooking utensil lid 1 is put on a cooking utensil for cooking. The lid body 10 is approximately hemispherically formed.
