      SOLUTION: The acute phase fixation harness A for the shoulder joint luxation has a supporting frame 1 formed by bending a thick plate with a predetermined length and a torso band 2 for fitting and securing the supporting frame 1 around the torso portion of a body. The supporting frame 1 is integrally formed from a lightweight and rigid thick plate in width wider than an upper arm and has a curved section 3 along the shape of the torso portion of the body and an arm supporting side face 5 integrally and extendedly formed forwardly from the one end of the curved section 3 via a bent portion 4 and bent at a predetermined angle and having an approximately second arm length. Further, wide band arm supporting members 6 are disposed in an vertical direction and their rear faces are glued to the outer side of the arm supporting side face 5 of the supporting frame 1, and the arm supporting member 6 are provided with male (hook) hook-and-loop fasteners 7 and female (loop) hook-and-loop fasteners 8.

    • The present invention is a shoulder dislocation acute-phase immobilization orthosis for supporting, in treatment for a shoulder dislocation, an arm in a prescribed position while the elbow is bent at a right angle in an arm hanging position.
