Also provided is an aqueous polymeric coating composition form which the clear matte coating may be formed and a method for improving the matting efficiency of an emulsion polymer having a calculated Tg of from −60° C. to 150° C. and an average particle diameter of from 0.5 microns to 30 microns in a coating.
