摘要： The present invention is directed to a process for the preparation of foam-containing polyurethane (urea) masses comprising reacting an isocyanate prepolymer containing cation groups with water in the presence of fillers. The isocyanate prepolymer is prepared by first i) reacting a polyisocyanate with a first polyol which contains partly or completely quaternized tertiary nitrogen, said polyol being prepared by reacting a tertiary amine containing compound with from 3 to 8 moles of propylene oxide per mol of nitrogen to thereby form a semi-isocyanate prepolymer and then ii) reacting said semi-isocyanate prepolymer with a second polyol different from said first polyol, to form said isocyanate prepolymer.

The prepolymers are prepared by reacting: A) an isocyanate selected from the group consisting of i) an aliphatic and/or a cycloaliphatic isocyanate, ii) a mixture of an aromatic isocyanate and an aliphatic and/or a cycloaliphatic isocyanate, B) a di- or polyhydroxy compound having a number average molecular weight of from 700 to about 16,000, and C) optionally, a dihydroxy and/or polyhydroxyl compound having a number average molecular weight of less than 700, with the provisos that a) at least one of components A), B or C) has a functionality of more than 2 and b) if both component A) and component B) are difunctional, component C) cannot be a trihydroxy component of the formula: R—(OH)3 where R is a saturated straight chain or branched chain aliphatic group of from 2 to 8 carbon atoms.

摘要： This invention relates to a process for the production of polyurethane/urea moldings from a reaction injection molding process by processing the reaction mixture consisting of a diisocyanate and an isocyanate-reactive component via the one-shot process at an isocyanate index of about 80 to 130. The diisocyanate is an unmodified cycloaliphatic diisocyanate. The isocyanate-reactive component consists of 1) at least one polyol having functional groups which are hydroxyl groups, amine groups, or mixtures of hydroxyl groups and amine groups such that the equivalent ratio of hydroxyl groups to amine groups is from 0:1 to 1:1, and 2) at least one chain extender which is selected from diols, triols, primary aliphatic amines, secondary aliphatic amines, aminoalcohols and mixtures thereof. The equivalent ratio of hydroxyl groups to amine groups in the chain extender component is from 1:2 to 10:1. A catalyst capable of catalyzing the reaction between isocyanate groups and isocyanate-reactive groups is also present in the reaction mixture.
