摘要： A blank for the construction of a gift wrapper for a box-shaped article is formed from a single sheet of material, the blank comprising first and second identical rectangular panels (1 and 2) joined together by a third rectangular panel (3) at respective first and second fold lines (4 and 5). A first flap (13a) is joined to the first panel (1) at a side thereof adjacent to the first fold line (4) by a fourth rectangular panel (11a) at respective third and fourth fold lines (12a and 14a). A second flap (13b) is joined to the first panel (1) at the opposite side to the first flap by a fifth rectangular panel (11b) at respective fifth and sixth fold lines (12b and 14b). A third flap (9) is joined to the first panel (1) at the remaining side thereof by a sixth rectangular panel (8) by respective seventh and eighth fold lines (7 and 10). The blank is foldable about the fold lines to form a box-shaped gift wrapper wherein the first panel (1) constitutes the front of the wrapper, the second panel (2) constitutes the rear of the wrapper, the third panel (3) constitutes the base of the wrapper, the fourth and fifth panels (11a and 11b) constitute the sides of the wrapper, and the sixth panel (8) constitutes the top of the wrapper, and wherein the first and second flaps (13a and 13b) are adapted for adhering to the second panel. The blank preferably has a plain surface and a decorated surface.
