    • Clock skew may be detected measured and compensated for using phase detectors and variable delay adjusters. Phase detectors may be distributed throughout a clock distribution network and may be configured to analyze two clock signals to determine how often one signal leads the other. The output of the phase detectors may be measured and counted over a large number of clock cycles. The difference between the number of times one signal leads or lags behind the other may be used to determine the amount of delay to apply to the leading clock signal in order to minimize (reduce) skew between the two clock signals. The same techniques for detecting and measuring clock skew may also be used to detect and measure jitter in the clock signals. By configuring variable delay adjusters on clock signals, the amount of jitter in the clock signals can be measured or characterized.

    • Spectacle frames are provided for use with either prescription lenses, safety lenses, or the like, the frames having a lens-holding substructure with two lens-holding rims joined at the center section by a bridge piece, and two head-engaging members pivotably attached at or near the bridge piece to a top surface thereof, and extending upwardly and around to the side of a wearer's head, the head-engaging members terminating at ear-engaging portions. The pivotable attachment of the head-engaging members to the lens-holding substructure is effected by snap-fitting a cylindrical pin having a ball element at its end, which extends from a forward end of each head-engaging member, into one of a pair of cylindrical bores, each terminating at a spherical socket, which are disposed at and extend into the lens-holding substructure at or near the bridge piece.

    • A frame assembly for a doorway defined by two substantially vertical sides and a substantially horizontal side comprises a header jamb having a top surface, a bottom surface, and one or two header jamb rebates. The top surface of the head jamb is adapted for fixedly mounting to the substantially horizontal side of the doorway and the header jamb rebates located on the bottom surface across the length of the header jamb define a header soffit. The frame assembly comprises two upright jambs each having an outer surface and a top end. The outer surface of each of the upright jambs is adapted for fixedly mounting to one of the two substantially vertical sides of the doorway. The top end of each of the upright jambs have a slot for receiving a portion of the header soffit such that, when assembled, the header soffit engages in the slots.
