    • Auditions need no longer be held locally within the casting director's office. Talent registration forms, size cards, talent worksheets and the duplication of numerous DV tapes or DVDs are no longer necessary, thus resulting in the saving of time, money and energy. Auditions may be conducted collectively by talent agents or individually by talent who use their computer or mobile devices to film their individual audition and submit it via the internet using proprietary software from anywhere in the world. Auditions are saved digitally on a storage server and transmitted over the internet, saving on both duplicating and courier transfer costs. Audition corrections, if required, can be communicated to talent that have already submitted their auditions, and they can resubmit their corrections using the internet from wherever they are. Clients will have the ability to review and download individual video tracks, headshots, enlarged profile images, resumes, size cards and talent logs, as well as open and view the talent's multi-media profile.

    • An apparatus is provided for communicating over a network images captured by a digital camera, such as a digital camera without an on-board network interface. The apparatus includes a housing separate from the digital camera having a processing unit with memory for storage of images, a camera interface card received in a memory card slot of the digital camera, and a cable or wireless connection coupling the camera interface card to the processing unit for data communication. The apparatus emulates a memory card to the digital camera, such that the digital camera's electronics operate with the memory of the processing unit through the camera interface card, as if such memory was on a memory card located in slot of the digital camera. Images captured by the digital camera are transferred, via the camera interface card and cable, to memory of the processing unit, and the digital camera can access images stored in memory of the processing unit. The processing unit has a wireless data network interface and Ethernet communication interface, whereby captured images stored in memory of the processing unit are queued in real-time for network transfer, and subsequently transferred via one of the network communication interfaces, to a computer system, such as an web site or file server, at a network destination address configurable in the processing unit. Data may be inputted by the user before and/or after image capture for association with images prior to their network transfer. The housing for the processing unit may be shaped like a motor drive unit and attached to the bottom of the camera, or worn by the user of the camera in the form of a belt pack or backpack.

    • An apparatus for terminating a very fine magnet wire and which, in doing so, becomes the permanent termination thereof. A three sided contact forming three sides of a trapezium has the center side form an acute angle with the serrated second side and an obtuse angle with the third side. A housing has a cavity therein for receiving and retaining the contact. The cavity contains a stopping means against which the junction of the first and center contact sides abut as the contact is inserted into said housing. However, the third contact side continues further into the cavity to alter the said acute and obtuse angles towards right angles, thereby pushing the serrated second contact side in a direction normal to the insertion force and against a given wall of the housing and across which the magnet wire has been positioned.

    • A system and method in which a size of a pixel used to print lenticular depth images is changed to remove overlap in the slow scan print direction. A space adjustment of the space between scan lines can also be performed to remove pixel overlap. The pixel can also be elongated in the fast scan direction reducing fast scan resolution. An elongated pixel can be combined with skip space adjustment to remove pixel overlap. Printing the image lines in the fast scan or dot movement direction improves image quality. The print resolution in the fast scan direction can be reduced by increasing the printing rate compared to the data rate of the supplied image data, thereby cloning pixels in the fast scan direction, while maintaining a normal slow scan speed to normally print lines. Combinations of the above approaches to directional printing, removing slow scan pixel overlap and reducing file size can be accomplished.
