    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for resolution, positional measurement and confirmation and correction of the treating position of a lesion or an organ for the purpose of planning of the radiotherapy. SOLUTION: A combination of an ultrasonic imaging system 008 and a diagnostic imaging system 002 selected from a group including an MRI, a CT and a PET is used for securing the positional measurement of the ultrasonic image related to a coordinate space of the diagnostic imaging system through the usage of a positional sensing system. The position of the lesion 010 in a positional measurement ultrasonic image and the position of the lesion in the ultrasonic image captured while a patient lies on a treatment table of a therapy unit are compared to suggest the correct plan for arranging the lesion at its subjective treatment position and the correction by the confirmation acquired from a qualified person is executed.     • A system includes acquisition of a plurality of images of a first portion of a body undergoing substantially periodic motion, acquisition of a second plurality of images of a second portion of the body, the second portion comprising a portion of the first portion, and determination of a correlation between at least one of the first plurality of images and at least one of the second plurality of images. A system may also include generation of a combined image of the first portion and the second portion based on the at least one of the first plurality of images and the at least one of the second plurality of images, the combined image corresponding to a first phase of the periodic motion.
