摘要： A mass flow grain monitor is located adjacent the upper end of the clean grain elevator assembly of a harvester and includes a load cell having a member that is subject to slight deformation under loads for use in generating an output signal that is proportional to the load. As the grain flow reaches the top of the elevator assembly, its direction is changed such that a centrifugal force is exerted by the moving flow that is proportional to the mass of the grain flow at that instant. Such centrifugal force is directed vertically against the deformable member of the load cell which is itself generally horizontally disposed when the harvester is on level ground so that the entire weight of the deformable member can be treated as tare and zeroed out of the system when it is calibrated with the harvester on level ground. Having the member generally horizontally disposed and measuring the force of the grain vertically causes a significant reduction in the amount of error introduced into the output from the monitor when the harvester encounters upsloping or downsloping hillside conditions.

摘要： A crumb-like silicone rubber powder is uniformly dispersed in a polystyrene polymer using conventional equipment, such as a twin screw extruder, to provide a resin having up to a ten fold improvement in impact strength over the unmodified polymer. The novel silicone rubber powder of the invention is prepared by isolating the particles obtained from a polymerization of an unsaturated monomer in the presence of an aqueous emulsion of a unsaturated telechelic polydiorganosiloxane which has been prepared using an organotin curing catalyst and a dihydrolyzable grafting silane.

摘要： A non-crosslinked polymer, comprising a preformed aqueous emulsion having a plurality of silanol-terminated polydiorganosiloxane particles, a functionalizing silane having the formula R.sub.3-n Q.sub.n SiX where X is a hydrolyzable group, Q is an organic functional group which does not prevent a condensation reaction between X and a silanol-terminated polydiorganosiloxane molecule, R is a saturated monovalent hydrocarbon group of from one to six carbon atoms, and an organotin catalyst. The composition results in a non-crosslinked polymer, unlike the polymers described in the prior art. It has been found that adding a functionalizing silane having only one hydrolyzable group to a preformed polydiorganosiloxane emulsion results in functionalized polydiorganosiloxane molecules free of crosslinks between the polydiorganosiloxane chains.

A pair of transport wheels are provided for supporting the implement for endwise transport and the support wheels, on which the implement is supported during a field working operation, are raised so as not to interfere with endwise transport. In order to prevent the automatic lowering of a row marker when the support wheels are thus raised relative to the frame, a blocking valve is provided in the row marker hydraulic circuit which moves to its closed position when the tongue is moved from its field working position thereby preventing lowering of the row marker.
