摘要： A solution of alkali metal stannate and/or stannite, formed by dissolving the tin from a tin-coated metal with a solution of (e.g. 5-10 per cent) caustic alkali into which (in the case of stannate) carbon dioxide-free air or oxygen is passed, is treated with an alkali earth metal hydroxide to produce the insoluble alkaline earth stannate, and/or stannite (e.g. barium stannate) which is removed, and the remaining solution recycled. The precipitated salt may be treated with sulphuric acid solution to form barium sulphate and stannous or stannic sulphate or with an alkali metal sulphate to form barium sulphate and alkali metal stannate or stannite, or with hydrochloric acid solution in the stoichiometric amount required to form alkaline earth metal chloride and to free tin as more or less hydrated oxide.ALSO:A tin coating, together with its corrosion products is removed from the metallic base by reacting the coated article with a solution of caustic alkali and removing tin from the resulting solution by addition of one or more of the alkaline earth hydroxides, the solution freed from the tin being recycled without further treatment to the tin dissolving stage.

Two such holdets arranged side by side are described, one for 10s. notes and the other for ú1 notes, the stops referred to being shown at i. The contacting surfaces of the clip with the notes may be tipped with rubber to form a friction grip. In one modification, the holder is made in the form of an enclosed hand case, in another it may take the form of a drawer with or without other compartments for coin. The Provisional Specification states that the spring-pressed member may 'be hinged to the sides of the holder and the base thereby dispensed with.

The method and apparatus are versatile, allowing particles of different shapes, sizes, materials and masses to be fluidized and coated. The fluidization process allows uniform and conformal coatings on particles and fibers. Coatings of pure metals, alloys, or ceramic materials can be produced.

Once the device 101 assigns itself the unique identifier 112, which may be temporary in nature, the device 101 may use the temporary identifier 112 to identify itself to other devices 102-105 operating within the piconet 100, which may be a Bluetooth local area network. In accordance with one embodiment of the method, a device 101 may first scan the piconet 100 to determine device identifiers 113-116 corresponding to devices 102-105 that are operating within the piconet 100. After scanning the device 101 stores the device identifiers 113-116 in a list and queries the list to determine which identifiers are included in the list. The device 101 then selects the temporary, unique identifier 112 that is not found in the list. The unique identifier 112 may then be used to identify the device 101 to the piconet.
