    • A method comprising receiving a candidate image, including a first field, a second field, a first data element, and a second data element. The processor receives a definition of first and second form zones. The processor evaluates the first data element to determine a first measure of a similarity and the second data element to determine a second measure of a similarity. The processor computes a similarity value indicative of an overall similarity, iteratively compares the overall similarity to a previous iteration, modifies the positions of the form zones, and repeats the evaluating and computing based on the modified positions until the computed similarity value meets a threshold.

    • A secured process sourcing and work management system for processing secure information in a non-secure environment is disclosed. The system permits a user, referred to herein as a customer or requestor, to submit a project, involving a human intelligence task (“HIT”), referred to as a task or task specification, to be performed with respect to secure, confidential or sensitive information, referred to herein as secure information, and have that project completed in a non-secure environment without compromising the security, confidentiality or sensitivity of the secure information. The system may be incorporated into the requestor's workflow, receiving projects therefrom and providing the results thereto. Further, a system is disclosed for implementing a processing workflow for such tasks, the system permitting, based on projects submitted by requestors, the “posting” or distribution of jobs, and subsequent management thereof, to be performed by a workforce operating in or via a non-secure-environment, while protecting the underlying security, confidentiality or sensitivity of the overall project.

    • In order to increase the efficiency and flexibility in generating work schedules for employees at an enterprise, a method and a system for generating schedules for users of the system are provided. A database including data records that each include data related to one or more attributes of a respective one of the user is provided. At least one first time period that represents an availability of one of the users is identified. A second time period that is assignable to at least one of the users is identified. The second time period is characterized by attributes. A schedule for the one user is generated based on the data record for the one user, the at least one first time period, and the second time period.

    • A system for contextualizing noisy samples by substantially minimizing noise induced variance may include a memory, an interface, and a processor. The memory is operative to store exemplars. The processor is operative to receive, via the interface, a sample which includes exemplar content corresponding to one of the exemplars, and noise. Variance induced by the noise may differentiate the sample from one or more of the exemplars. The processor may generalize the sample and the exemplars in order to substantially minimize the variance. The processor may compare the generalized sample to the generalized exemplars to identify the exemplar corresponding to the exemplar content of the sample. The processor may contextualize the sample based on a document type of the identified exemplar. The processor may present the contextualized sample to a user to facilitate interpretation thereof, and in response thereto, receive data representative of a user determination associated with the noise.

    • A system for segregating handwritten information from typographic information on a document may include a memory, an interface, and a processor. The memory stores an electronic document image of a document where the electronic document image includes pixels and each pixel has a characteristic. The processor may receive, via the interface, the electronic document image and may identify first, second and third most frequently occurring characteristics of the pixels of the electronic document image. The pixels having the first most frequently occurring characteristic represent a background of the document. The processor may determine the typographic information of the document as represented by pixels having the second most frequently occurring characteristic. The processor may determine the handwritten information of the document as represented by pixels having the third most frequently occurring characteristic. The processor may derive a first representation of the handwritten information and a second representation of the typographic information.
