Geodetic data for a plurality of surface locations are received. The geodetic data may include surface gradient information and/or surface elevation information for multiple surface locations. A set of constraining relationships is generated based on the geodetic data. The set of constraining relationships relates undetermined values of surface elevation movement and/or undetermined values of surface gradient movement to measured surface elevation changes and/or measured surface gradient changes. Some or all of the constraining relationships include multiple undetermined values. Particular values for surface elevation movements and/or particular values for surface gradient movements are calculated for multiple surface locations based on determining a solution to the set of constraining relationships. In some implementations, a minimum curvature surface may be generated deterministically based on the geodetic data and the particular values identified using the constraining relationships.

At least some of the illustrative embodiments are methods that include: injecting a first fluid into a subterranean zone, the injecting by way of a first borehole; making a reading indicative of surface deformation; identifying, based on the surface deformation reading, a flow path for a second fluid out of the subterranean zone; drilling a second borehole that intersects the flow path; and placing a sealing compound into the flow path by way of the second borehole, the sealing compound reduces the flow of the second fluid through the flow path.

摘要： A modular fluid processing architecture 10 is provided that consists of a matrix of nested tubes or processor modules 11A-D secured between end block manifolds 12 & 13. Multiple chemical reactors may be housed in the annular spaces formed by the nesting of the tubes, and the processes may be integrated through flow splitting, mixing, switching and heat exchange in the manifolds. A flow switching system 5-9 may provide the ability to switch the flows on or off in individual processors or in banks of such processors. The switching may effect the operation of some or all of the processes. Such switching can facilitate rapid and close following of demand for the processor output while allowing each processor to run within a range of high efficiency, since processors may be turned off or on in response to falling or rising demand for the output.

摘要： A fixed sequence activation handle has at least a first (128), second (302) and third removable member (702) each attached to a distally extending line (120, 122,126) in communication with a remotely located deployable device having a first and second portion wherein removal of the first member from the handle results in partial deployment of the first portion of the remotely located deployable device thus allowing access to the second member. The second member can include a rotatable portion (304) wherein rotation of said rotatable portion modulates the first portion of the deployable device and wherein removal of said second member results in complete deployment of the first portion of the device and allows access to the third member. Manipulation of the third member deploys the second portion of the device. The third member is nested within the second member and the second member is nested within the first member.
