    • PURPOSE:To exchangeably fit a stationary tool as well as a rotary tool to a rotary main shaft by utilizing the pressing force of a spring and the tensile force of a draw bar applied to a pull stud and coupling a stationary member and a shank member in one body. CONSTITUTION:A tool holder is constituted with a shank member 3' inserted into the fitting hole 4' of a rotary main shaft 4 and a stationary holding member 13 to fit a stationary tool 1'. A pull stud 5' penetrating the center hole of the shank member 3' is slidably coupled with the member 3', and a clutch member 16 with an increased diameter pinched by a flange 15 and the holder 7 of a draw bar 6 is formed at the base end of the pull stud 5'. A dish spring 19 is compressed and the V-leg 18 of the stationary holding member 13 is pressed to the V-groove 17 of a main shaft box 10, and under this condition, the stationary holding member 13 is precisely positioned and maintains its stationary position by the press fitting of the shank member 3' into the fitting hole 4' and the coupling of the groove 17 with the V-leg 18.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steady brace device for a workpiece capable of stabilizing the steady brace of a workpiece W, and a machine tool provided with the steady brace device.
      SOLUTION: This steady brace device 9 for the workpiece is provided with an abutting member 20 abutting on an outer peripheral surface of the workpiece W rotated around a shaft and a supporting member 10 for supporting the abutting member 20. The abutting member 20 is floated and supported to the supporting member 10 via a floating means. The floating means is constituted by combining a projecting type spherical surface 24A provided on the abutting member 20 and a recessed type spherical surface 12A provided on the supporting member 10 and in slidable contact with the projecting type spherical surface 24A.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a groove having a specified depth to be cut, even if a workpiece has a non circular shape, in a cutting device for cutting a groove at an outer circumferential surface of the fixed circular workpiece. SOLUTION: A slide 14 is fixed to a surface plate installed at a main shaft in such as way that it may be moved in a diametrical direction. A blade stock is arranged at the slide 14 in such a way that it may be rotated through a supporting shaft 22 and at the same time the tool slide is held at an initial position by a compressive coil spring 34. Then, the tool slide is provided with a roller 28 for restricting a cutting depth of a cutting tool 26 while being abutted against an outer circumferential surface of a workpiece W. When a cutting operation is carried out, the roller 28 is filed along the outer circumnferential surface of the workpiece, thereby, the cutting depth against the outer circumferential surface of the workpiece W with the cutting tool 26 is kept constant.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at simultaneously working a vibration preventing device attaching part, by providing such an arrangement that a workpiece is supported by three way rollers of up, down and side, the rollers are coupled to one end of links rotated about a swingable shaft and having the other end attached with cam followers for rotary cams, so that the rollers may follow variations in the diameter of the workpiece. CONSTITUTION:In a link 5 which swings about a stud 15 as a rotational center with supporting rollers 1, 3 being closely contacted to the outer peripheral surface of a workpiece 4, a cam follower 7 is closely contacted to a cam 8 under the pressure force of a torsion spring 13 so that the supporting rollers 1, 3 are allowed to take a sufficient swinging range for supporting the workpiece due to the rotation of the cam 8. Further, a link 6 slides in a guide groove formed in a casing 14, radially of the workpiece 4 under the condition that a supporting roller 2 is closely contacted to the outer peripheral surface of the workpiece 4, and therefore, a cam follower 9 is closely contacted to a cam 10 under the tension force of a tension spring 16 so that a sufficient linear movement for allowing the supporting roller 2 to support the workpiece 4 is obtained due to the rotation of the cam 10. Accordingly, the diameter range of allowable gripping is enlarged and therefore, the working under such a condition that a vibration preventing part is attached, is made possible.
