摘要： A refrigeration apparatus having an evaporator fan motor control includes an evaporator to remove heat energy from the air in a cooled storage space. The evaporator transfers the heat energy to a refrigerant. At least one evaporator fan moves air from the cooled storage space across the evaporator to improve the transfer of heat energy into the refrigerant. The one or more evaporator fans have an energy consumption and generate a waste heat energy. A refrigeration control unit at least controls the operation of the one or more evaporator fans. During an off mode, the one or more evaporator fans are operated in a reduced energy consumption mode to reduce the energy consumption of the one or more evaporator fans and to reduce the waste heat while still defrosting the evaporator in the off mode.

摘要： A refrigerated cold beverage merchandiser (10) includes an enclosure defining an insulated, refrigerated display cabinet (25) and a compartment (30) heat insulated therefrom wherein a compressor (40) a condenser (50) and a condenser fan (60) are disposed. The condenser (50) is formed by a plurality of in-line tube banks (52). Each tube bank (52) is a serpentine tube formed a plurality of unfinned, straight tube segments (54) extending in parallel rows (55) between a pair of spaced, opposed end plates (58) and elbow turns (56) connecting neighboring straight tube segments (56) in a conventional manner. Each successive tube bank (52) is arranged with the other tube banks so that respective parallel tube rows (55) are disposed in-line from the front to the rear of the condenser (50) or with each successive tube bank being offset in a slightly staggered arrangement.

A generally vertically extending air supply duct (104) at the rear of the cabinet has an inlet (108) for receiving the refrigerated air and an outlet (109) at its upper end for passing the refrigerated air from the air supply duct into an upper region of the interior space along the top wall of cabinet. An evaporator fan (62) in a compartment (53) beneath the interior space draws air flow downwardly through the product display space and through a return air inlet (102) in the lower wall separating the compartment from the interior space. A flow baffle (140) may be disposed in the upper region of the interior space for directing the air downwardly into the interior space to pass through the product displayed therein and out the air return outlet in the lower wall.
