    • A rotary compressor includes a driving shaft having an eccentric portion, a cylinder, and a roller installed on an outer circumference of the eccentric portion to contact an inner circumference of the cylinder, performing a rolling motion along the inner circumference and forming a fluid chamber to suck and compress fluid along with the inner circumference. A vane is installed elastically in the cylinder to contact the roller continuously. Discharge ports communicate with the fluid chamber. Suction ports communicate with the fluid chamber and are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined angle. A valve assembly selectively opens any one of the suction ports according to a rotation direction of the driving shaft. Compression spaces having different volumes are formed in the fluid chamber according to the rotation direction of the driving shaft such that two different compression capacities are formed.

    • The present invention discloses a linear compressor which can rapidly overcome load and improve compression efficiency, by synchronizing an operation frequency of a linear motor with a natural frequency of a movable member varied by the load and varying a stroke of the movable member according to the load. The linear compressor includes a fixed member having a compression space inside, a movable member linearly reciprocated in the fixed member in the axial direction, for compressing refrigerants sucked into the compression space, one or more springs installed to elastically support the movable member in the motion direction of the movable member, spring constants of which being varied by load, and a linear motor installed to be connected to the movable member, for linearly reciprocating the movable member in the axial direction, and varying a stroke of the movable member according to a predetermined refrigeration force, so that the movable member can be linearly reciprocated to reach a top dead center.

    • A dual capacity compressor that prevents relative movement from taking place between certain components is provided. The dual capacity compressor includes a power generating part having a reversible motor and a crank shaft inserted in the motor, and a compression part having a cylinder, a piston and a connecting rod. A crank pin is provided in an upper part of the crank shaft, eccentric from an axis of the crank shaft, and an eccentric sleeve is rotatably fitted between the crank pin and an end of the connecting rod. A key member is held at least a part of the eccentric sleeve, and held at a particular portion of at the eccentric sleeve during operation so as to positively latch the eccentric sleeve with the crank pin in both directions rotation of the motor.
