The chair further including an arm support element coupled to the second support element, as well as a first motion actuator coupled to the second support element to rotate the second support element with respect to the first support element, and a second motion actuator coupled to the second support to pivot the second support element with respect to the first support element. The chair also includes a first controller that allows a user to modify an operational characteristic of the first motion actuator and a second controller that allows a user to modify an operational characteristic of the second motion actuator.

The devises may be formed from a sheet material to obtain a substantially cylindrical end and at least one clevis arm. The clevis features may include an axle having at least one flared end to engage a clevis arm, one or more U-shaped grooves on the clevis arms to receive an axle, and stiffening ribs to strengthen the clevis arms.
