摘要： The present invention relates to a method for configuring a retransmission protocol on the uplink between a network node and a relay node in a mobile communication system, the configuration being performed at a network node or at a relay node, and to the corresponding relay node apparatus and network node apparatus capable of configuring the retransmission protocol. In particular, the number of transmission processes is determined based on the position of time intervals available for the transmission and may be selected in order to control the round trip time of the retransmission protocol. Once the number of transmission processes has been configured, the transmission processes are mapped on the available time intervals in a predefined order and repetitively.

The invention is inter alia applicable to a 3GPP LTE and LTE-A system as standardized by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). The invention provides a structure (message) that allows conveying channel quality information in a manner allowing an unambiguous identification of the size channel quality information. This is achieved by defining a message comprising a first channel quality field consisting of a known number of bits, and a second channel quality field consisting of a variable number of bits. The number of bits and structure (of the content of the bits) of the second channel quality field is indicated by the content of the bits of the first channel quality field.

摘要： In a mobile communication system with uncorrelated channel characteristics, transmission using modulation of data symbols with repetition can improve the performance. However, mapping of the original and the repeated symbols into the physical resources may on the other hand reduce a desired level of diversity when the original and the corresponding repeated symbols map on the physical resources close to each other. The present invention provides a method for transmission, a transmitter, a method for receiving, and a receiver capable of efficiently transmit/receive data symbols with an increased level of diversity. This is achieved by grouping of portions of the original and the corresponding data symbols and by mapping the portions of the original and the corresponding data symbols into the different physical resource blocks.

摘要： The invention relates to a method, apparatus and system for configuring control channels in a mobile communication network and a mobile station. In order to suggest another improved scheme for configuring control channels, in particular control channels related to the transmission of user data the invention suggests aligning the size of the control channel information of different formats to an equal number of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel. The control channels may comprise scheduling related control information. According to another aspect of the invention, a more flexible solution is proposed that may allow for taking different geometries of mobile stations within a cell into account. Similar to the aspect above, the size of the control channel information is aligned by means of modulation and/or coding, however the control channel information is aligned to one out of a set of numbers of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel.

Each subset has a plurality of downstream control information allocation area candidates. In this way, the blind decoding area candidates related to DCI format corresponding to each sub-mode can be limited to the subset corresponding to each sub-mode.

摘要： The invention relates to methods for informing an eNodeB on the transmit power status of a user equipment in a mobile communication system using component carrier (CC) aggregation. Furthermore, the invention is also related to the implementation of these methods by hardware and their implementation in software. The invention proposes procedures that allow the eNodeB to recognize the power usage status of a UE in a communication system using carrier aggregation. The UE indicates to the eNodeB, when the UE is close to using its total maximum UE transmit power or when it has exceeded same. This is achieved by the UE including indicator(s) and/or new MAC CEs to one or more protocol data units transmitted on respective component carriers within a single sub-frame that is providing the eNodeB with power status information. The MAC CEs may report a per-UE power headroom. Alternatively, the MAC CEs may report per-CC power headrooms and/or power reductions applied to the respective uplink CCs.

To suggest a scheme for transmitting feedback on the successful/unsuccessful decoding of transmissions that is operable in FDD mode, the invention proposes to utilize only a single one of plural radio resources available for feedback transmission for signaling feedback for multiple transmissions. A feedback sequence of ACK/NACKs for the transmissions is mapped to one feedback resource combination that is one of the radio resources available for feedback transmission and a modulation symbol of the given modulation scheme that is transmitted on said one radio resource. This scheme can also be used in cases where the number of possible feedback sequences of ACK/NACKs for the transmissions is larger than the number of feedback resource combinations available for feedback transmission.
