    • An apparatus and a method for acquiring object image of a pointer are provided. The apparatus is suitable for an optical touch system and is used for acquiring an object image of a pointer when the pointer interacts with a touch surface of the optical touch system. The apparatus includes an image sensor and a processing circuit. The image sensor is used for acquiring an image of the touch surface. When the pointer approaches the touch surface, the processing circuit compares at least a part of the information of a sensed image with a threshold value, so as to determine a comparison range. Then, the processing circuit determines another threshold value according to the image information in the comparison range. Afterwards, the processing circuit compares the image information in the comparison range with the aforementioned another threshold value, so as to acquire an object image of the pointer.

    • A light path adjusting assembly includes a supporting component and a light path adjusting component. The supporting component includes a mounting portion, a light transmission portion and a connecting portion. The light transmission portion faces to the mounting portion. The connecting portion is located between and is connected to the mounting portion and the light transmission portion, thereby forming a receiving space between the mounting portion and the light transmission portion. The light path adjusting component is disposed in the receiving space. An optical touch device using the light path adjusting assembly is also provided. The light path adjusting assembly and the optical touch device have a simple manufacturing process and a high production yield.

    • An optical touch system includes a touch surface having a first touch region and a second touch region, a reflective member for generating a reflection of an object on the touch surface, an image sensor for providing an image of the object and an image of the reflection, and a processing unit. The image sensor is represented by either first reference coordinate data or second reference coordinate data. The processing unit is configured to compute the coordinate data of the object using the first reference coordinate data, the image of the object, and the image of the reflection to when the object is in the first touch region, and configured to compute the coordinate data of the object using the second reference coordinate data, the image of the object, and the image of the reflection when the object is in the second touch region.
