摘要： The use of nucleotide or peptide sequences for preparing drugs suitable for treating or preventing acquired auto-immune myasthenia is disclosed. Said nucleotide sequences are selected from sequences capable of coding for a peptide sequence that is in turn capable of causing the formation of antibodies that recognise and form an immunological complex with all or part of the amino acid sequence of human T cell receptor segment V beta 5.1; or sequences capable of coding for a peptide sequence that itself represents an antibody capable of recognising and forming an immunological complex with all or part of the amino acid sequence of said segment V beta 5.1; sequences capable of coding for an anti-sense RNA that is in turn capable of hybridising with all or part of the mRNA coded for by the DNA sequence coding for the amino acid sequence of said segment V beta 5.1; or sequences capable of hybridising with all or part of the DNA sequence coding for the amino acid sequence of said segment V beta 5.1, or with all or part of the mRNA coded for by said DNA sequence. Said peptide sequences are selected from sequences capable of causing the formation of antibodies that recognise and form an immunological complex with human T cell receptor segment V beta 5.1; or sequences corresponding to antibodies capable of recognising and forming an immunological complex with all or part of the amino acid sequence of T cell receptor segment V beta 5.1.
