摘要： A shoe 1 comprises a device adapted to tighten and loosen lacing, the device comprising a toggle element 53 located in an operating slot 181, the toggle element including front and rear lever arms 531, 532 pivotally connected together. The front lever arm is engagable with a slidable shuttle element 52 and the rear lever arm is pivotally connected at the back of the operating slot. The lacing 3 is threaded onto the shuttle element and is fixed to a lug pin 183 at the back of the operating slot. In use, the toggle element may be compressed so as to cause the front and rear lever arms to pivot away from each other, thereby forcing the shuttle element to slide forwards to tighten the lacing.
