    • A loading system (1) for loading bulk material from a bulk material production plant onto a ship (3) has at least one stationary intermediate storage container (19) for receiving the bulk material from the bulk material production plant. At least a first loading conveying device (50) is used to convey the bulk material from the bulk material production plant into the intermediate storage container (19). At least a second loading conveying device (51) is used to convey the bulk material from the intermediate storage container (19) into the ship (3). At least one of the two loading conveying devices (50, 51) can be configured for bulk material slow conveyance and/or dense phase conveyance and/or lean phase conveyance. An unloading system (4) for loading bulk material from a ship (3) onto transporters (2) has at least one stationary intermediate storage container (52, 67) for receiving the bulk material from the ship (3). Two unloading conveying devices (72, 73) are used to convey the bulk material, on the one hand, from the ship (3) into the intermediate storage container (52) and, on the other hand, from the intermediate storage container (52) into the transporters (2). At least one of the two unloading conveying devices (72, 73) may be configured in such a way that a slow conveyance and/or dense phase conveyance and/or lean phase conveyance of the bulk material takes place there. A loading system is the result, with which the loading takes place in a gentle manner for the bulk material, and an unloading system, with which the bulk material can be conveyed in a gentle manner from the ship to transporters.
