    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance probe head for improving the sensitivity especially of a small circular test sample. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance probe head comprises a vacuum container in which a plurality of RF resonator coils are disposed which can be cryogenically cooled and are each designed as planar coils which are disposed parallel to a z direction, wherein the entire RF resonator coils have a larger extension in an x direction (RSx) than in a y direction (RSy), and wherein the x, y, z directions form a rectangular coordinate system, and a central tube block disposed between the RF resonator coils, which has a recess for a test sample, which is elongated in the z direction. The central tube block partially delimits the vacuum container, and the recess is disposed outside the vacuum container.
