摘要： A packet-oriented mobile radio transmission system takes account of a packet utilization level that indicates how much of the maximum amount of payload information that can be transmitted is used for transmission. Such packet utilization level is a function of the packet type. A packet type that is suitable in the respective reception conditions is selected at the receiving end as a function of a variable that is characteristic of the integrity of the received data, and of the packet utilization level. At the transmission end, the packet type is switched as a function of the selection result.

摘要： In a method for qualification of a frequency channel in a wire-free communication system, data is transmitted on different frequency channels by means of an adaptive frequency hopping method. The transmission and reception are carried out in time slots using a time slot method which is based on the radio standard. In order to qualify the transmission quality of the frequency channels, data packet error rates and/or bit error rates and the field strength of the received data signal are measured, and the measured field strength is compared with a threshold value field strength in order to make a selection decision.

The principle proposed involves alternate transmission and reception in the mobile radio system, with each timeslot comprising at least one time interval for transmitting/receiving a data block (RX, TX). The reception field strength (RSSI) is measured directly before (A, B) or directly after (C, D) transmission or reception of the data block (RX, TX). This allows the number of locking operations required in a PLL to be reduced and still allows adaptive channel adjustment to be performed, for example in a “frequency hopping method”, by measuring all channels without reducing the net data rate.
