    • A motorcycle comprising a frame having left and right tail supports extending rearward, front and rear wheels coupled to the frame, and a rear fender positioned over the rear wheel and between the tail supports. The rear fender includes left and right flanges positioned adjacent inner surfaces of the left and right tail supports, respectively. In order to provide additional support to the fender, the motorcycle can further include an inner support coupled to an inner surface of the fender. Preferably, the inner support and the fender define a wire path in which wires from a taillight can be routed, thereby protecting the wires. The wire path can be continued by another wire path defined between the fender and a rear housing that has an overlapping portion coupled to the fender.

    • A motorcycle includes a frame having left and right tail supports extending rearward, front and rear wheels coupled to the frame, and a rear fender positioned over the rear wheel and between the tail supports. The rear fender includes left and right flanges positioned adjacent inner surfaces of the left and right tail supports, respectively. A fender mounting assembly interconnects the rear fender to the tail supports. The assembly includes a left fastener positioned through the left tail support and through the left flange, and a right fastener positioned through the right tail support and through the right flange. Each fastener includes a low profile head adjacent the outer surface of the corresponding tail support. Each fastener includes a stud plate and two threaded studs secured to the stud plate. In order to improve the cosmetics of the design, the motorcycle can further include a cover positioned over each of the tail supports and covering each of the fasteners. Each cover preferably is coupled to the frame by one or more front fasteners. In addition, inner fasteners can be inserted through the fender and tail support and secured to an inner surface of the cover to thereby sandwich the tail support between the fender and the cover. In order to provide additional support to the fender, the motorcycle can further include an inner support coupled to an inner surface of the fender. Preferably, the inner support and the fender define a wire path in which wires from a taillight can be routed, thereby protecting the wires. The wire path can be continued by another wire path defined between the fender and a rear housing that has an overlapping portion coupled to the fender.

    • A motorcycle tail light assembly including a base having a light bulb mount and a wiring harness connected with the mount, and a mounting means for mounting the base to the motorcycle. The assembly further includes a cover, including a tail light lens, adapted to be positioned over the base, and an attaching means for attaching the cover to a motorcycle. The mounting means is designed to maintain connection between the base and the motorcycle when the cover has been removed from the motorcycle. The tail light assembly can also include a lens engaging portion, and the cover can include a housing and a license plate lens having a first portion and a second portion. The lens engaging portion of the base engages the second portion to force the first portion into engagement with the housing.

    • A motorcycle including a frame, a front fork assembly connected to the frame, a front wheel including a front axle secured to the front fork assembly, and a fender assembly. The fender assembly includes a fender positioned over the front wheel, and a fender strap interconnecting the fender with the front axle such that vertical movement of the front axle results in substantially the same vertical movement of the fender. A brake caliper is connected to the front axle, and a fender bracket interconnects the fender with the brake caliper. A fender bushing is rotatably mounted on the front axle, and the fender strap is connected to the fender bushing. The bushing includes a threaded portion that extends through an opening in the fender strap. The bushing also includes a threaded collar threaded onto the threaded portion to secure the fender strap to the fender bushing. A threaded end cap is threaded onto the threaded portion to cover the front axle, and a resilient gasket is positioned between the end cap and the collar to provide a seal and prevent loosening of the end cap.

    • A front running light assembly that is to be mounted to a front fender of a motorcycle, and including a housing having an open bottom portion leading to a cavity and a top portion having an opening. A translucent lens is positioned within the cavity and at least partially covers the opening. The lens is directly secured to the housing such that the lens maintains engagement with the housing when the housing is detached from a motorcycle front fender. The assembly further includes a base and a bulb mount for supporting a light bulb and secured to the base. The base is integrally formed with the lens, such as by molded the two parts from plastic. A resilient pad contacts the bottom portion of the housing and includes a wire opening for allowing electrical wires to pass through the pad and a bulb access opening for providing access to a light bulb supported by the bulb mount. Preferably, the pad is adhesively secured to the bottom portion of the housing. The pad includes a base and a lip extending from the base toward the housing to substantially surround the bottom portion of the housing.

The assembly includes a light support bar having two ends separated from each other in a first direction, wherein a second direction is substantially perpendicular to the first direction. Two light support members are secured to the two ends of the light bar, and each light support member includes an elongated orifice that is longer in the second direction than in the first direction. A horn support bracket is connected to the light bar and is adapted to support a horn. Preferably, the horn support bracket includes a horn attaching portion for supporting a horn, a frame attaching portion adapted to engage a motorcycle frame, and an intermediate portion between the horn attaching and frame attaching portions.
