摘要： An element for the attachment of protein arrays, the element comprising a surface to which are attached a plurality of piperazine functional groups wherein the piperazine functional groups are represented by Formula I: where R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10, are hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkylhalo, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, alkylthio, alkoxy, with the proviso that at least one of R1 to R10 be a non-labile chemical unit that attaches the piperazine functional group to the surface of the element.

摘要： Pigment-based ink composition, and inkjet printing systems and methods employing such ink composition. The ink contains an aqueous polyurethane additive including polyurethane polymer chains including at least first segments having a polysiloxane group of Mw greater than about 10,000 pendant to the polyurethane polymer chain backbone, wherein (i) the polyurethane additive further comprises polyurethane polymer chains including second segments having a polysiloxane group of Mw less than about 6,000 either pendant to the polyurethane polymer backbone or a part of the polyurethane polymer backbone or (ii) the composition further comprises a polysiloxane polymer additive of Mw of less than about 6,000 which is not pendant to a polyurethane polymer backbone or a part of a polyurethane polymer backbone. The polyurethane additive has a Mw of at least 10,000 and a sufficient number of acid groups to provide an acid number greater than 20.

摘要： A method of enhancing a series of images comprising the steps of: providing x digital image files, each image file including a matrix of n rows.times.m columns of pixels; producing a matrix of the x digital image files of x rows of m.times.n pixels per row, where each row is an unfolded image of an x digital image; splitting the produced matrix into two data sets A and B, each data set with an equal amount of images less than x; applying singular value decomposition (SVD) to data set A and limiting the SVD space to a number of expected components; calculating the projections A.sup.p and B.sup.p of data set A and data set B into the SVD space of A, with the eigenvalues of the SVD representing the projection of A; calculating the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the product of A.sup.p and the inverse of B.sup.p ; and transforming the results of the latter calculation back to the original data set and calculating the resolved images and their contributions into the original images.
