摘要： An apparatus is provided for removing leaves (1) from the stems (2) of cut flowers. It comprises a conveyor belt (3) having a conveying direction (4) for conveying the cut flowers in a position in which the stems extend transversely beyond the conveyor belt (3) and deleafing means (6)positioned next to the conveyor belt (3) for engaging the stems for removing the leaves there from. The deleafing means (6) comprise deleafing members moving along endless tracks in first planes extending substantially perpendicularly to a second plane defined by the conveyor belt and the stems (2) of the cut flowers. As seen in a direction perpendicularly to the second plane, the angle between said first planes and the stems lies in a range from 0° to 20°.

摘要： The invention provides a method of packing a flower bouquet in a conical cover made of material (S). In this method at least one discrete sheet (S) of material is provided and a flower bouquet (B) is brought substantially in register with the sheet. The sheet is picked up and folded around the flower bouquet, bringing together two opposed sheet edges so as to form a conical cover. The sheet edges are interconnected to form the conical cover.
The apparatus to perform this method comprises a support (2) for supporting the sheets (S), grippers (8) for gripping two opposite edges of the sheet, two chain conveyors (7) to bring the grippers from a position adjacent the edges of a flat sheet to a position adjacent to each other, and connecting means (12) for interconnecting the opposite edges of the sheet.

摘要： An apparatus for gathering cut flowers (3) comprises a first conveyor (4) for supplying cut flowers (3) with an average first velocity and with a first spacing between successive cut flowers; a second conveyor (5) for receiving the cut flowers (3) from the first conveyor (4) and for conveying said cut flowers with an average second velocity smaller than the average first velocity of the first conveyor for positioning successive cut flowers at a second spacing smaller than the first spacing; and a third conveyor (6) for receiving the cut flowers from the second conveyor (5) and for conveying said cut flowers with an average third velocity smaller than the average second velocity of the second conveyor for positioning successive cut flowers in a bundle. In one embodiment the second conveyor (5) is driven alternately with a high velocity higher than the average second velocity and a low velocity smaller than the average second velocity (and preferably zero). The cut flowers (3) have a vertical position with the stem facing upwards while passing the first, second and third conveyors.

摘要： An apparatus for tying together a bundle of cut flowers with an elongate elastic tying material comprises a tying unit intended for pulling in and tying an amount of the elongate elastic tying material around said bundle, a storage unit for holding a reel having wound thereon a stock of said elongate elastic tying material and a guiding assembly intended for guiding the elongate elastic tying material from the storage unit towards the tying unit. The storage unit defines a central shaft for receiving thereon the reel, which is oriented such that the guiding assembly is capable of unwinding and removing the elongate elastic tying material from the reel in a removal direction substantially in parallel to said central shaft. The storage unit is provided with a restraining member intended for, with a restraining force, engaging at least a forward circumferential rim, as considered in said removal direction, of the stock of said elongate elastic tying material wound on the reel.
