摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shut-off system preventing the unnecessary operation of an emergency shut-off device. SOLUTION: This gas shut-off system 100 activates the emergency shut-off device 12 when both an earthquake of reference seismic intensity or more occurs and abnormality of valve opening of a pressure governor 11 cooperating with the flow of gas flowing through the pressure governor 11 is detected. The unnecessary operation of the emergency shut-off device 12 (the supply stop of gas) can thereby be prevented. Even when an earthquake actually occurs, the emergency shut-off device 12 can be activated only to the earthquake likely to cause a disaster. Safety can thereby be ensured while improving convenience. Since the emergency shut-off device 12 is provided in a governor chamber 10 installed for every area block of a city gas supply network, a disaster caused by gas can be prevented in a wide range.
