    • PURPOSE: To improve holding force by inserting a pellet, into which a resistance element is buried, into the aperture of a key member and frictionally fixing the pellet. CONSTITUTION: A pellet 10, in which a resistance element 18 is buried to the main body 11 of a deformable thermoplastic resin material, is compressed and inserted into an aperture 6 through tapered edge sections 26, 28 and head sections 43, 45 giving initial frictional holding force, and extended while being crossed over the reverse side of the aperture 6. Indented sections 37, 39 are formed and pushed to side faces 37, 39 in the perimeter of the aperture 6 by swaging, and engaged with the cylindrical surface 44 of the main body 11 by a material along the edge-section perimeter of the aperture 6, and the pellet 10 is fixed frictionally to the shank 22 of a key member. The indented sections are further pushed and deformed so as to form integral bosses 14a and 14b penetrated to the aperture 6, and the pellet 10 is mounted frictionally into the aperture 6 by the bosses 14a, 14b. Accordingly, holding force can be improved by non-flash.

    • PURPOSE: To realize the more precise control of engine speed and to reduce the drop of engine speed at the loaded time by counting the output of an oscillator means making a response to an error signal proportional to a difference between a source input signal and a control output signal and driving an actuator. CONSTITUTION: A comparator means 27 for comparing the source input signal 3 and the control output signal 26 and generating the error signal 28 proportional to the difference between the source input signal 3 and the control output signal 26 and the oscillator means 29 for making the response to the error signal generating a timing signal 43 proportional to the error signal 28 are provided. A counter means 44 making the response to the source input signal 3 generating the timing signal 43 and a continuous counter output signal 51 and actuator means 52 and 58 making the response to the continuous counter output signal 51 adjusting actual speed are provided. Thus, the speed of an internal combustion engine is automatically controlled and constant speed can be substantially adjusted to be maintained even at the time of the load.
