An increase of the dissolved oxygen quantity in the water fed tank 1 is suppressed, the occurrence of rust in the water feed pipe can be effectively reduced, and the load of a water processing device on the downstream side of the water feed tank 1 can be reduced.

Then, a water heater is arranged between a water supply tank and the physical water treatment apparatus and the temp. of the water to be sent into the physical water treatment apparatus is controlled, for example, to about 18 - 20 deg.C. As the water heater, a heat exchanger using steam, hot water or other heating medium can be utilized. By this constitution, the efficiency of the physical water treatment apparatus is enhanced to lower the amount of dissolved oxygen in water and the generation of red rust in a water supply iron pipe can be suppressed.
