摘要： PURPOSE: To facilitate medicine administration restraining waste by projecting an inlet portion to a reservoir so as to hold a sufficient amount of liquid for filling a pump chamber, at a second position of a container for a body, in a dispensing pump used for nasal administration of liquid sprays from an ampule-shaped container. CONSTITUTION: This pump 1 has a body 2 for partitioning a cylindrical chamber 3, and the body 2 has a tubular inlet portion 4 having a built-in inlet valve 7. The inlet valve 7 has a spherical valve member 8 and blocks an inlet pipe 6 according to an excessive fluid pressure in the chamber 3. An actuating stem 10 in the chamber 3 of such body 2 is provided, and an end portion 11 projecting from the body 2 is connected with an actuator 12. The inlet portion 4 is provided projectably into a reservoir 30 so as to hold enough amount of liquid to fill inlet pipe 6 and fill the chamber 3, at a second position of a container 26 for the body 2.

The front surface of the chamber (3) is composed of a thin membrane material (13), of which rear surface (24) is brought into contact with a liquid (4). Also, a vibrating means (8) is connected to the housing (2) for vibrating the thin membrane material (13) to dispense liquid particles through the membrane material (13). It is possible, as a result, to obtain a dispensing device with a high reliability, being able to dispense finely atomized liquid particles. This dispensing device is usable when it is necessary to form a finely atomized liquid particles such as in a case for a medical inhaler requiring liquid particles with sizes of 10 μ or less.

摘要： PURPOSE: To make it not necessary to have an outer drive source to operate valves enabling liquid to flow only when a drive means is excited by providing valve means which causes the first and second valve to come on and off seats responding to either pressure or suction in a pump chamber with displacement of an elastic wall and equipping it with a magnet means to energize at least one of them to come on the seat. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric film 10 as well as a thin film 9 is relaxed in its initial position at the end of negative operation pulse. It makes a chamber 6-restore its original volume to generate a pressure inside. These pressure causes the first check valve 13 closed as well as causing the second check valve 18 opened. Concurrently under this pressure, the liquid comes out of the chamber 6 to the second check valve 18 and is discharged outward through an outflow duct 20. During a continuous operation pulse sequence, the first check valve 13 and the second check valve 18 are kept closed by the action of the first and second magnet 30, 36 to keep on giving valve means 22, 25 a constant force toward respective seat 21 and 24.

Then, the room of the distribution container 3 is divided into a product fluid storage part 25 at the front of a piston 5, namely near the first edge part 6, and a propelling fluid storage part 26 at the rear of the piston 5, namely near the second edge part 22. The piston 5 is formed by a front part 27 made of a butyl robber that is provided while facing the product fluid storage part 25 that is connected to the metering valve 8 and a rear part 28 made of nitrile rubber that is provided while facing the propelling fluid storage part 26, thus spreading a propelling pressure to the product fluid without mixing both fluids.
