摘要： A cosmetic compact (100) configured to hold a loose powder is provided. The cosmetic compact includes a base (108), a cover (102), a sifter (110) and an applicator (124). The cover is coupled to the base and pivotable between an open position and a closed open position. The sifter (110) is supported at the base to provide a chamber configured to receive the loose powder. The sifter (110) has a platform (138) defining at least one dispensing aperture. The applicator (124) is compressed between the cover and the sifter when the cover is in the closed position. The compressed applicator (124) is configured to restrict the loose powder from substantially exiting the chamber.
