摘要： The fluid delivery system generally includes a source of injection fluid, a pump device a fluid path set disposed between the source of injection fluid and the pump device, and a fluid control device. The fluid path set includes a multi-position valve. The fluid control device is operatively associated with the fluid path set and includes a valve actuator adapted to operate the multi-position valve. The valve actuator is adapted to close the multi-position valve to isolate the pump device from a patient and stop flow of the injection fluid to the patient at substantially any pressure or flow rate generated by the pump device for delivering a sharp bolus of the injection fluid to the patient. The valve actuator is generally adapted to selectively place the pump device in fluid communication with the source of injection fluid for supplying the injection fluid to the pump device and the patient.

摘要： The control device is used to control delivery of fluid from a fluid delivery system during a medical injection procedure. The fluid delivery system includes an injector adapted to actuate a syringe used to deliver the injection fluid to a patient. The control device is operatively associated with the injector for controlling discrete flow rates of injection fluid delivered to the patient. The control device includes a housing and an actuator associated with the housing. An electronic substrate is disposed within the housing and comprises a conductive pattern. The actuator is adapted for operative association with the conductive pattern. The conductive pattern includes a plurality of predetermined digital values corresponding to discrete flow rates of injection fluid to be delivered by the injector, such that when the actuator is actuated the actuator operatively associates with the conductive pattern for transmitting the digital values to the injector.

摘要： A cartridge (10) for forming a beverage includes a container (12) defining an interior space (14), a filter (30), a beverage medium (20) contained in the interior space, an a filter guard (40). The filter (30) may be arranged so that liquid that interacts with the beverage medium flows through the filter to exit the interior space. The container may include a surface arranged to be pierced by a piercing member (52) to permit beverage to exit the container. The filter guard (40) may be arranged to contact the piercing member (52) to resist damage to the filter when the container surface is pierced. In one embodiment, the filter guard (40) and filter (30) may be in contact with the container surface that is pierced, yet damage to the filter that might be caused by the piercing element may be avoided.

摘要： The fluid delivery system (10) generally includes a source of injection fluid (6), a pump device (30), a fluid path set disposed between the source of injection fluid and the pump device, and a fluid control device. The fluid path set includes a multi-position valve (50). The fluid control device is operatively associated with the fluid path set and includes a valve actuator adapted to operate the multi-position valve.
