摘要： A closure for a container has a closure body having a first cylindrical portion and a second cylindrical portion opposite the first portion. The closure also has a connector disposed in at least one of the first and second portions. The connector is adapted to connect one of a sample collection device and an applicator to the closure. A method of using the containing apparatus is also disclosed.

摘要： A sample collection tool comprises a collection end configured for collecting a sample. Optionally, the sample is collected from within a body cavity of an animal without causing significant discomfort or injury to the animal. A first handle portion has a first end connected to the collection end and a second end. A second handle portion is connected to the second end of the first handle portion by a breakable connection. The second end of the first handle portion has at least one winglet. The at least one winglet is compliant in a preferential direction. The breakable connection is ruptured at least in part when the at least one winglet is forced in the preferential direction.

摘要： An anti-icing spray assembly includes a base housing having a generally open top and a cavity. The base housing is adapted to be mounted in a roadway. A spray housing is removably secured to the base housing with at least a portion of the spray housing being disposed in the cavity of the base housing. The spray housing defines an interior chamber and is watertight so as to substantially prevent water from entering the interior chamber. The spray housing includes at least one spray outlet adapted to spray an anti-icing agent onto the roadway. At least one valve assembly is disposed in the interior chamber of the spray housing. The valve assembly is operably connected to the at least one spray outlet and is moveable between a closed position and an open position, wherein it is adapted to permit the flow of the anti-icing agent through the at least one spray outlet and onto the roadway when moved to the open position .

摘要： An impedance measurement apparatus is employed to collect information concerning a region of the skin of a subject. The apparatus includes a set of electrodes employed in impedance measurements and a housing. The housing includes a body configured to be gripped by a user when the set of electrodes are applied to the subject and a head located at a distal end of the body. The set of electrodes are configured for removable attachment to the head. A first plurality of fiducial markers is included as a part of the apparatus. A second plurality of fiducial markers is located on the subject adjacent the region. The first plurality of fiducial markers is configured to allow the user, while applying the impedance probe to the subject, to confirm that the set of electrodes is in a location determined when the first plurality of fiducial markers are aligned in a known alignment relative to the second plurality of fiducial markers.

An anti-icing spray system includes a plurality of anti-icing spray assemblies installed in a roadway having a surface. A fluid conduit communicates with and supplies an anti-icing agent to the respective spray assemblies. A method of installing an antiicing spray system in a roadway includes installing a plurality of base housings in the roadway such that the base housings do not protrude above a surface thereof, inserting a plurality of spray housings into corresponding ones of the base housings and removably securing the plurality of spray housings to the base housings.
