    • A plate type heat pipe, a method for manufacturing the same and a package unit thereof are provided to maintain heat radiation effect by preventing coupled matter from being entered to a receiving room so as not to affect characteristics and function of a capillary structure and operating fluid. A plate type heat pipe comprises a package unit(2) and coupled matter. The package unit includes a first case(21) and a second case(22) combined with each other. The first case has a work zone(211) and a blocking portion(213) surrounding the work zone and protruded between the work zone and a first adhering portion(212). The second case is covered by the first case, and has a cover portion(221) located above the work zone and a second adhering portion(222) located on the first adhering portion. The coupled matter is located between the first adhering portion and the second adhering portion, and couples the first adhering portion to the second adhering portion.
