    • A mortar mixing machine has a frame and a hopper supported by the frame for containing dry mortar. The hopper has an outlet with an outlet opening. A first conveying and mixing tube, connected in a working position thereof to the outlet so as to extend horizontally, has at least one water inlet and is designed for mixing the dry mortar fed into the conveying and mixing tube from the hopper with water introduced via the at least one water inlet to prepare mixed moist mortar. The first conveying and mixing tube has a removal opening for the mixed moist mortar remote from the outlet. A second conveying and mixing tube is connected to the frame for directly receiving in a working position thereof the mixed moist mortar. The second conveying and mixing tube conveys the mixed moist mortar in a direction opposite to the conveying direction of the first conveying and mixing tube. The second conveying and mixing tube has a drive and is slidably retractable into a rest position together with the drive.

    • A tensioning device for chains such as tensioning chains, sling chains, tire chains and the like with a tensioning unit having at least one tensioning spindle which is connected with a tensioning nut and having at least one damping spring. The damping spring is a cup spring package and the cup spring package is installed in the tensioning unit. A multiplicity of the cup springs of the spring package can have a single layer and the remaining cup springs can have multilayer arrangement. More than half of the spring path, preferably approximately 80% of the entire spring path of the spring package is preloaded with a half force which is at least smaller by approximately one half than the preloading force of the remaining spring path. A control device has an indicator connected with a tensioning spindle and this indicator such as a bolt is movable, preferably is journalled longitudinally shiftable in a housing opening. The bolt is located approximately radially with respect to the tensioning spindle and preferably is secured to an abutment or ring at one end side thereof such as a plate and the bolt projects with another end into the housing having an opening therein.

    • A protective tire chain having a running section and lateral sections which comprise at least one tensioning device for tensioning the tire chain. The tensioning device is by means of two link members linked to links of the tire chain. These two link members are continuously spring urged toward each other so that the tensioning device continuously tends to assume its shortest overall length and consequently to tighten the chain. The two link members are, however, also movable away from each other against the spring thrust into a position in which the tensioning device has its maximum overall length or at least a considerably greater length than its shortest possible length. The tensioning device is provided with an unlatchable locking device which is operable selectively to lock the tensioning device in its maximum or longer length position to facilitate the mounting of the tensioning device.

    • For obtaining a compact superconductive power switch for rapid switching speeds and with high dielectric strength, several winding layers (10a . . . 10h) with several windings each are lined up adjacent each other in axial direction. Between individual layers (10a . . . 10h), there are provided cooling/heating elements (8a to 8d) in order to transfer the high-current switch unit (1) to the superconducting state and the normally conducting state, respectively, by cooling/heating, i.e. for closing and opening said unit, respectively. Mutually adjacent current conductors have the switching current flowing therethrough in opposite directions, so that the high-current switch unit (1) is of low induction, which permits fast switching times in particular when the switch is opened by an additional current pulse. Due to the numerous windings of the current conductor sections in each layer and the plurality of layers in axial directions, only a low voltage differential results between the adjacent current conductors, and an assembly with high dielectric strength is obtained in total.
