    • Systems and methods for coordinated discovery of the status of network routes by hosts in a network. A plurality of host devices is connected to at least one of a plurality of egress devices. Each of the plurality of host devices is assigned to at least one cluster group. A cluster group may include one or more host devices connected to a common egress device. A master node is selected from the members of each cluster group. The master node coordinates the issuance of probe messages from the master node and other members of the cluster group to the common egress device. The probes provide the status of a network route to and through the common egress device. The master node makes the status available to the members of the cluster group. A member of the cluster group may obtain the status by communicating with the master node or by communicating with other members of its cluster group.

    • Systems and methods for cloning a Wi-Fi access point. A determination is made by a network monitoring device to transition communications between a Wi-Fi device and a first access point (AP) to a second AP. The SSID and the security configuration information, and, optionally, network address translation (NAT) information of the first access point are acquired and provided to a second AP. The second AP instantiates the SSID and the security configuration information and, optionally, the NAT information. The networking monitoring device directs the first AP to cease using the SSID and the security configuration information and, optionally, the NAT information in response to receipt of confirmation that the second AP has instantiated the SSID and the security configuration information and, optionally, the NAT information of the first AP.

    • In a plasma processing system, a method of tuning of a set of plasma processing steps is disclosed. The method includes striking a first plasma comprising neutrals and ions in a plasma reactor of the plasma processing system. The method also includes etching in a first etching step a set of layers on a substrate; positioning a movable uniformity ring around the substrate, wherein a bottom surface of the uniformity ring is about the same height as a top surface of the substrate; and striking a second plasma consisting essentially of neutrals in the plasma reactor of the plasma processing system. The method further includes etching in a second etching step the set of layers on the substrate; and wherein the etching in the first step and the etching in the second step are substantially uniform.
