摘要： A submersible thrust producing implement for use in combination with an excavator, the excavator being of the type having a boom and a stick with an attachment end on the stick for attaching the implement, which boom and stick can be extended and retracted to selectively submerge the attachment end to a predetermined location in a body of water, and having a hydraulic power system for actuating the boom, the stick, and the implement. The implement comprises: a housing; a propeller mounted on the housing for rotation about a first axis; apparatus for driving the propeller to produce a current of water away from the housing sufficient to produce a predetermined thrusting force; a first rotating device for selectively rotating the housing about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis to control the direction of the thrusting force in a first plane; and a second rotating device for selectively rotating the housing about a third axis perpendicular to both the first axis and the second axis to control the direction of the thrusting force in a second plane. When the excavator is positioned upon a vessel floating on a body of water, the thrusting force may be selectively directed to be utilized either for propelling the barge on the body of water or for dredging the bottom of the body of water.

摘要： In one embodiment, active recent bidders in a bidding fee auction are displayed in a region of a graphical bidder interface. Each bidder in the set of active recent bidders is displayed in a single graphical bidder element, or avatar, in the region. In response to receiving an event, an activity level and a recency measure for each bidder in the bidding fee auction are generated. Bidders are removed or added to the set of active recent bidders based on the activity levels and recency measures of the bidders. Avatars corresponding to the bidders are added or removed from the region.

When calling, the standard dial tone may be replaced with a distinctive dial tone or sound that indicates to the call participant that enhanced service is active (e.g., a service active sound). In some embodiments, the person called by the VoIP user hears a viral sound that indicates that an enhanced telephone service is being used. Furthermore, communication audio cues may be provided during the communication to provide further information to the call participants.

摘要： A decentralized architecture allows a plain old telephone system (POTS) line to be shared for use. Routing logic is handled by a voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) control system and by logic in an initiating analog telephone adapter (ATA). A destination ATA is selected based upon the phone number of a destination phone. Routing information for a destination ATA is communicated to the initiating ATA, and the initiating ATA communicates a media stream to the destination ATA. The system and method enables lower cost routing than currently available, relieves a caller at an initiating phone from having to select whether to use VOIP or the PSTN, and relieves the caller from dialing special phone numbers.
