An animal trap comprises an open rectangular frame A having upstanding slotted standards D which pivotally receive an axle F to which are integrally secured a pair of striker arms E and a lever M, the free end of the lever being pivotally connected, by a link O, to a spring G anchored to the frame, the trap being held set by a trip-rod C pivoted to a tread-plate B. The arms E are interconnected by a rod on which hangs a link H, the trip-rod C being passed through a hole in the frame A and through a loop in this link. The plate B is pivoted on the frame at N and is connected by an offset hinge J to the trip-rod C. The arms E have hooked ends to obviate the animals being thrown clear by their movement, an anchor chain being also provided. This chain may be hooked around the arms E to act as a safetycatch. A slightly modified trip-mechanism is described in the Provisional Specification.

摘要： A downhole mixing tool and method for removing sand and other debris from a wellbore which combines the sand with a treatment fluid so that the sand is lifted to the surface of the well for removal. The tool includes a chamber into which the sand laden fluid is drawn and the treatment fluid is introduced. Ports into the chamber are arranged to provide a pressure drop to draw the sand laden fluid into the chamber and a mixing time within the chamber before sand laden fluid of lower viscosity exits the chamber to travel to the surface. Additional features include blades on the tool for breaking up obstructions prior to being drawn into the chamber and a lubricating line through the tool to introduce lubricating fluid to the blades.

摘要： A method for preparing a conjugated microporous polymer comprises the coupling of an alkynyl aryl monomer having a plurality of terminal alkyne groups with an iodo- or bromo-aryl monomer having a plurality of halogen atoms in the presence of a palladium (0) catalyst. The conjugated microporous polymer comprises nodes comprising at least one aryl unit and struts comprising at least one alkyne unit and at least one aryl unit, wherein a node is bonded from its aryl unit or units to at least two struts via alkyne units. Such polymers are useful in numerous areas such as separations, controlled release, gas storage and supports for catalysts.
