摘要： It is a principal object of the invention to provide a hanging device with sufficient support, functionality and simplicity to fulfill many designer residential and/or commercial functions. The hanging device of the invention is compact and has a reinforced structure, thereby taking into account both esthetic and practical aspects. Additionally the hanging device also provides designer uses.According to one aspect of the invention, the hanging device comprises two vertical support members, a hanging rod, a horizontal support rod, and footings. The two footings contain rubber pads on the under side that has contact with the flooring. The footings are welded to the vertical support rod, which is mitered and welded to the hanging rod and horizontal support rod.According to another aspect of the invention, the above hanging device can include a secondary horizontal support rod for additional support and hanging space.Still according to another aspect of the invention, more than one of the above devices can be adapted by replacing the rubber pads on the footings with steel plates and stud mount ball transfers creating an esthetic movable hanging device.

摘要： A hair coloring cap, for use in selectively changing the color of multiple strands of hair on a head of a user, includes a support frame for supporting a plurality of strut members in a spaced apart positions around the head of the user. Each of a plurality of wing members are attached to one of the plurality of strut members and extends therefrom to a length approximately that of the multiple strands of hair to be colored. The cap is positioned on the head and multiple strands of hair are pulled between the strut members so that the hair is positioned on an upper surface of each of the plurality of wing members. A coloring agent is applied to the upper surface of each of the plurality of wing members, such that the coloring agent functionally coats each of the multiple strands of hair to be colored. Each of the plurality of wing members is then folded, thereby trapping the hair and the coloring agent.

摘要： Use of cilastatin to reduce the nephrotoxicity of different compounds. The invention refers to use of cilastatin to prepare a medicinal product to reduce the nephrotoxicity of a nephrotoxic compound that enters the cells of the proximal tubule through cholesterol rafts. The invention is based on the discovery that a great number of nephrotoxic compounds, including drugs, enter the cells of the proximal tubule through the cholesterol rafts, and that cilastatin is able to interfere with this transport mechanism, decreasing the nephrotoxicity of such compounds to a variable extent. The nephroprotective effect is common to compounds of different chemical nature and solubility and is specific for the kidney, causing no interference with the effects of nephrotoxic drugs having their targets in other organs. Therefore, administration of cilastatin allows for decreasing the nephrotoxic effects of different drugs without reducing their therapeutic effects.
