摘要： A cathode ray tube (1) includes an evacuated envelope (2) having a substantially rectangular faceplate panel (3) with two diagonal axes that extend between the opposing corners of the panel. The panel includes a mask-frame assembly (10) having a frame with two opposing long sides (22, 24) and two opposing short sides (26, 28) forming a continuous mask support frame (20). The frame is mounted within the tube by brackets (40) located near the corners of the frame. Each bracket is adjustably secured along the short sides of the frame and includes a flat surface section (43) extending normal to the diagonal axes of the panel. A spring clip assembly (50) is secured to the flat surface section of the bracket for engaging a stud (48) affixed to the panel.

The insert member (60) is formed of a material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion and has a plurality of apertures (62,64) extending in a row along its length. The aperature (62, 64) are dimensioned to be larger than the fastening portions (51) passing therethrough to loosely connect the insert member (60) to the support blade structure (40). This allows the insert member (60) to be connected at the center while it's ends are free to slide relative to the support blade structure (40) during thermal cycling.

摘要： Connector and connector assemblies for use with miniature high power electrical components, and specifically with miniature LEDs (154). Although the connectors and connector assemblies are designed for use with miniature LEDs (154), these devices are not so limited and can also be used with other miniature electronic devices. These connectors and connector assemblies provide a mechanical connection between the miniature electronic component and electrical contacts instead of a soldered connection, providing a reliable electrical contact between the component, whether used in a PCB-type drop- in connection or some other connection. The connector also includes a heat sink to remove heat from the connector assembly generated by the LED (154) and provides for a reliable mechanical connection between the LED (154) and heat sink.
