摘要： A method and system for watching video and playing games in a mobile communication device are described in which video content is received from a network television channel and, based on the orientation of the mobile communication device and the device type, the video content and/or a game may be displayed. When in a portrait orientation, the operating mode may be such that the video content and/or the game may be displayed. For a tablet device in a portrait orientation, for example, both the video content and the game may be displayed. When the mobile communication device is changed to a landscape orientation, the operating mode may be different and only one of the video content and the game may be displayed based on whether the mobile communication device was rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise. A rewards program may combine the video-watching and game-playing activities of the user.

摘要： Robots including projectors for projecting images on identified projection surfaces are disclosed. A robot includes a housing, an electronic control unit coupled to the housing, a projector coupled to the housing, a human recognition module coupled to the housing, and a projection surface identification module coupled to the housing. The projector, the human recognition module, and the surface identification module are communicatively coupled with the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit includes a non-transitory memory that stores a set of machine readable instructions and a processor for executing the machine readable instructions. When executed by the processor, the machine readable instructions cause the robot to recognize a human using the human recognition module, identify a projection surface using the projection surface recognition module, and project an image on the identified projection surface with the projector.

A selection is sent to a server system to buy an upgraded media feature for a programming transmission. The server system automatically coordinates purchasing the media feature from a programming transmission source and providing the media feature from the programming transmission source. In one embodiment, an entertainment system includes a user interface from which a viewer selects an upgraded media feature for a programming transmission, wherein the programming transmission with the upgraded media feature is provided to the entertainment system.

摘要： A portable support apparatus for supporting game or other objects above the ground between spaced vertical columns comprises a support bracket attached by non-elastic straps to each column and a cross bar extending between the brackets. Each bracket includes a vertical back plate that rests flat against the vertical column and a vertical support plate that extends outwardly from a front side of the support plate. A recess in an upper edge of the support plate serves as a cross bar rest. The back plate can include studs to reduce slipping. The cross bar rest can have a rectangular U-shape or a V-shape for a rectangular, round or angled cross bar. The bracket can be mounted at a skewed angle on the column so the cross bar fits snugly in the recess.

摘要： A portable phone a portable phone is equipped with a personal area network (PAN) detection mechanism to detect all portable phones and electronic identifiers (e.g., key fobs) in its PAN. A buddy list is included in the portable phone. If an electronic identifier is detected, such as from a key fob, but its corresponding portable phone is not, a proxy signal mechanism signals to the wireless telephone network that the phone may receive calls for a different phone. In response, the wireless telephone network routes calls for the different phone to the proxy phone instead. In this manner a phone may change functions automatically as devices enter and leave the PAN.
