摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for transmitting and receiving data streams. The data streams are received. The data streams are mapped to a physical slot. At least one frame that includes the physical slot is formed. The at least one frame is transmitted through at least one radio frequency. The at least one frame is received through at least one radio frequency. A location of the physical slot included in each frame is obtained. The data streams allocated to the physical slot in the location are received. The physical slot includes bit information indicating a number of antennas transmitting the at least one frame.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for transmitting and receiving a data stream in a digital video broadcast system. The data stream is segmented into a plurality of segments of the data stream. A frame is generated. The frame includes a preamble section and a data section. The data section carries the data stream, and the preamble section carries signalling information. The frame is transmitted to a receiver. In generating the frame, the data section of the frame is segmented into a plurality of frequency zones, and at least one segment of the data stream is mapped to a frequency zone of the plurality of frequency zones. The signalling information includes first segmentation information of the data stream and second segmentation information of the plurality of frequency zones.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for transmitting and receiving a data stream in a digital video broadcast system. The data stream is segmented into a plurality of segments of the data stream. A frame is generated. The frame includes a preamble section and a data section. The data section carries the data stream, and the preamble section carries signalling information. The frame is transmitted to a receiver. In generating the frame, the data section of the frame is segmented into a plurality of frequency zones, and at least one segment of the data stream is mapped to a frequency zone of the plurality of frequency zones. The signalling information includes first segmentation information of the data stream and second segmentation information of the plurality of frequency zones.

The base station transfers signals in a cell of the base station, and the half-duplex terminal, when being handled by the base station, does not transfer or receive signals during a period of time, called idle period of the cell of the base station. If a characteristic of the terminal is not compatible with the idle period of the cell of the base station, it is determined that the base station cannot handle the terminal.

摘要： An encoder and a decoder employ an encoding scheme corresponding to a parity check matrix which is derivable from a bipartite protograph formed of variable nodes and check nodes, with each variable node corresponding to a codeword symbol position. The protograph has a plurality of groups of nodes, each group of nodes comprising both variable nodes and check nodes. Each of the check nodes in a group is of degree 2 and has connections to two variable nodes in the same group. The protograph also has a plurality of check nodes of degree n, where n is the number of said plurality of groups, wherein each of the plurality of check nodes has a connection to a variable node in each group such that the symbol positions in a codeword are interleaved between the groups of nodes.
