    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandible thickness measuring instrument which can measure the thickness of a mandible in order to aid success in an implant operation, because a bone cut in the implant operation is difficult to measure in thickness and gets out of a direction for allowing to take a photograph by X ray.
      SOLUTION: This mandible thickness measuring instrument comprises a vertical shaft for inserting into a hole formed by cutting a bone to measure a distance from the outside of the bone, and a horizontal shaft which is graduated with a scale, is connected with the top, and can be slid along the vertical shaft to measure thicknesses of the bone at various depths of positions.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the thickness of a bone in order to make an implant treatment successful even when the thickness of the cut peripheral bone is hardly grasped during an implant operation and a direction is not suitable for photographing with X-rays in the operation.
      SOLUTION: An axis is put into a hole obtained by cutting the bone, so as to measure a distance with the outer side of the bone. That is, a vertical axis is inserted into the inner part of the cut bone so as to measure the distance with an apex. Thus, the thickness of the bone is measured by a jawbone thickness measuring instrument.
