摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the thickness of a bone in order to make an implant treatment successful even when the thickness of the cut peripheral bone is hardly grasped during an implant operation and a direction is not suitable for photographing with X-rays in the operation.
SOLUTION: An axis is put into a hole obtained by cutting the bone, so as to measure a distance with the outer side of the bone. That is, a vertical axis is inserted into the inner part of the cut bone so as to measure the distance with an apex. Thus, the thickness of the bone is measured by a jawbone thickness measuring instrument.
