摘要： Devices, methods and kits which, when installed or used, urge or maintain patency of sinus ostia, such as the ostium between a nasal passageway and a maxillary sinus, while maintaining some function of cilia extending within or near the ostium. In various examples, the devices comprise a first portion, a second medial portion including a partially open cross-sectional configuration, and a third portion including one or more flexible and outwardly-biased projections. The partially open cross-sectional configuration can maintain a track of uncovered cilia within and near the ostium. In some examples, the devices can include an asymmetric body configuration. In some examples, the first portion includes a U-shaped configuration and the third portion includes at least two flexible and outwardly-biased projections. In some examples, the first, second or third portion includes a medication for delivery into sinus tissues.

摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure include methods and systems for a catheter assembly including a catheter shaft, a balloon positioned on the catheter shaft, where the balloon has a first balloon waist, a first lead extending longitudinally through the catheter shaft, and a first sealing member adjacent the first balloon waist and coupled to the first lead, where the first lead can provide electrical current to reversibly transition the first sealing member from a nonactivated state to an activated state in response to a temperature change in the first sealing member, and where at least a portion of the balloon rotates relative the catheter shaft in the nonactivated state and the first sealing member engages the first balloon waist to form a fluid tight seal and to prevent rotation of the balloon relative the catheter shaft in the activated state.

摘要： Systems and methods for non-invasive management of head pain are disclosed. The system includes a headgear configured to be worn on a patient's head. The headgear can include a base and an extension coupled to the base, and a number of therapy devices removably or adjustably attached to the base or the extension. The therapy devices can deliver various modes of therapeutic energy at respective target sites on the head, including neuromodulation of peripheral pain pathways and/or the cerebral cortex, and therapy modalities to facilitate or enhance the neuromodulation effects. The system can include a portable device that enables the user to control the therapy devices on the headgear. The user can use the portable device to optionally access a web-based repository to acquire information about headgear usage from other users, and use that information to guide the programming of the therapy devices.
