摘要： A method of displaying an image with a display system (20) is provided. The method comprises generating first and second sub-frames (28) using first and second subsets of image data (16) based on a relationship between a first projection device (112) and a second projection device (112), wherein the first and the second subsets of image data individually include insufficient information to provide a high quality reproduction of the image, and projecting the first and the second sub-frames onto a display surface using the first and the second projection devices, respectively, such that the first and the second sub-frames at least partially overlap on the display surface to provide the high quality reproduction of the image.

摘要： A method of displaying an image with a display device includes receiving image data for the image. A first sub-frame and a second sub-frame are generated based on combinations of pixel values from the image data. The method includes alternating between displaying the first sub-frame in a first position and displaying the second sub-frame in a second position spatially offset from the first position. Alternatively first through fourth subframes are displayed in first through fourth mutually offset positions. The different subframes are created throught use of e.g. nearest neighbour atgorithms. Also used are bilinear, spatial domain frequency domain and adaptive multi-pass algorithmus.

摘要： A medical fastener (18), preferably bioabsorbable, is used for repairing torn soft tissue, particularly meniscal tissue (16). The fastener (18) can have an enlarged head (22) at the proximate end to engage meniscal tissue (16) adjacent to a tear (14), and a pointed distal tip (21) at the other end to ease insertion of the fastener (18) into the meniscus (16). The shank (20) of the fastener (18) bridges across the tear (14). Opposite ends of the shank (20) are secured in the meniscal tissue (16) by a medical adhesive, preferably bioabsorbable, and preferably at locations remote from the tear (14) so as not to interfere with healing of the tear (14). The fastener (18) can have a blind bore (24) opening through the head (22) of the fastener (18) and extending through the shank (20) to a location close to the tip (21) and generally radial holes (26) communicating between the bore (24) and the exterior of the shank (20). The medical adhesive can be injected through the bore (24) for passage outward through the holes (26).
