摘要： PURPOSE: To reduce a size and a noise by providing a pin for rotating a rotary arm together with a gear by moving along a wall of a driven can slot at an inside of the arm, and an arm unit providing a rotary means for coupling the arm for bending and clamping it to move in a vertical direction in a frame. CONSTITUTION: The compact gear arm powered stapler 10 comprises left and right side frame plates 11b, 11c, and a spur gear 12b held by a motor shaft 12a therebetween to drive reduction gears 13a, 13b, 13c for rotating a forcing gear 16. A forcing shaft 17 of the gear 16 is fixed to a driven gear 18, and rotated together. Drive arms 21, 22 have slots 22a of left and right side driven cams at a rear ends and left and right side correcting slots 22b at a front end. The arms 21, 22 are driven by the pins 16p of the gear 16 and pin of the bar 18 when carried into an annular passage during cycling motion of the stapler.

摘要： PURPOSE: To allow the rotation of a sheath and prevent the jamming of a stapler by holding a lower stem at a normal operation fixed position with a cartridge and a head slot wall so that the lower stem can be freely movable in a slot with the removal of the cartridge. CONSTITUTION: When a cartridge 18 is mounted in a stapler head 17, a pin stem 24 is pushed downwardly against the bottom 18b of the cartridge 18. On the other hand, when the cartridge 18 is removed, the pin stem 24 is freely movable upwardly or backwardly in opposition to a curved hole area 26. That is, the pin stem 24 is moved a preset distance in the horizontal direction. In this way, the frictional engagement of the stem 24 with holes 26, 27 is reduced when the cartridge 18 is removed, and a spring finger of a spring 31 allows the stem 24 to be energized upwardly in the hole 26 and a groove. A sheath 21 is oscillatably provided around a fixed stem 21a for facilitating treatment of a staple subjected to jamming.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude a clogged staple by operating an opening lever rotating in tight association with a sheath to facilitate an operation of a fastener to open the sheath. SOLUTION: A sheath 26 is separated from a head 16, and held to form a staple transfer channel 34. When a staple is clogged, a sheath opening lever 37 engaged telescopic ally with an outside of the sheath 26 is rotated around the shaft 27 as a center by gripping a handle 37h. The lever 37 has a front side plate 40 and tow side plates 41, 42. The plates 41, 42 have inner tabs 41t, 42t engaged with end walls 29W, 30W of the sheath 26 to assure rotation of the lever 37. When the lever 37 is first moved, a pin 32 brings about downward cam motion by overcoming a spring 33 by cam protrusions 41a, 42a to open the sheath 26.
