    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove the sludge on the bottom of a pond, which is harmful to fish. SOLUTION: The upper end of a U-shaped pipe 1 which is extended down from a pit 6 in the water bottom and bent sideways and raised upward is set lower than the water level, and a unit pipe 2 whose upper end is higher than the water level is detachably fitted to the upper end of the U-shaped pipe 1, and the upper end of the U-shaped pipe 1 and the unit pipe 2 are contained in the vertical part of an elbow 3 whose upper end is set at the water level in the water area, and the lateral part of the elbow 3 is connected to a drain pipe, as equipment to remove the sludge of the bottom of a pond. When the unit pipe 2 is removed in a required time, the sludge of the water bottom is discharged to overflow together with water from the upper end of the U-shaped pipe 1 and removed into the drain pipe through the elbow 3. Accordingly, this removing device of sludge can be easily operated and the sludge can be efficiently removed. And the constitution of equipment is simple and the fabrication cost is low. In this way, the water quality is retained and fish is kept safe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health apparatus with a simple structure which is ideal for treating and preventing lumbago or the like by turning a bed on which a patient lies upright so that the user is hoisted upside down utilizing his own gravity. SOLUTION: One end of a bed 1 which is supported freely rotatably around an axis thereof at the central part of its base 2 is bent upward to form a leg carrier side part (b) and set about 10cm above a flat part. An anti-knee slip part (d) is formed by extending it about 10cm outward from both ends of the leg carrier part (b) along the length of the bed 1. A seat belt 4 is mounted beneath the bed 1 while a hoisting ring 5 is mounted at an intermediate part of the leg carrier part (b). In application, a patient lies on the bed 1 kept horizontal, the knees of his legs are put bent on the leg carrier side part (b) and the ankle is put into a ring at the tip of the seat belt 4. Under such a condition, the patient lies on his back holding the hoisting ring 5 and a motor 3 is operated. The bed 1 is turned to take its upright position so that the patient is hoisted upside down.
