    • PURPOSE: A device for inputting a 4-division multi-image having a variable frame function is provided to transmit four multi-image signals to a PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect) bus by using four video decoders and field memories, to display a 4-division screen having 30 frames or 3 to 4 frames per second on a screen. CONSTITUTION: Four video decoders(10) input analog video signals. Field memories(20) store the video signals output from the video decoders(10). An FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) controller(30) controls resolution of the video decoders(10) and mux selection, and controls read and write processes of the field memories(20). A PCI bus controller(40) transmits the video signals stored in the field memories(20) to a PCI bus of a personal computer.

    • PURPOSE: A digital hop field neural net chip for the channel assignment of mobile communication is provided to embody a neural net algorithm to effectively allocate channels in cellular mobile communication as a hardware. CONSTITUTION: A neural net algorithm is configured using a hop field network so that, when a channel is assigned in a unit cell, the channel cannot impact adjacent cells. To embody the neural net algorithm as a hardware, it is coded by VHDL(Very High Density Lipoprotein) and processed with functional simulation. After going through logical composition using a CAD(Computer Added Design) tool, the functionally simulated algorithm is embodied as a chip by a full custom process.
